Dr. Paul Piff
Dr. Paul Piff is a social psychologist and Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Irvine. His research focuses on economic inequality, morality and social connection, and the psychological effects of emotions like awe.
He has more than 50 scientific publications, delivered a widely-viewed TED Talk covering his research on economic inequality, and appeared as an expert in several documentary films. Dr. Piff’s research has been covered in The New York Times, Scientific American, NPR and other major publications, and he has co-authored or contributed pieces to The New York Times, World Economic Forum, PBS and the Los Angeles Times.
